The voices rose in a strong harmony as the elderly people and a group of young Americans all joined together in singing praises to God. We started first in Hebrew singing "Sing Hallelujah to the Lord"then followed in English, Russian, Ukrainian, Hindi, French, Yiddish, and Spanish- each language taking it’s turn to lead. I was filled with emotion as I was reminded of the great expanse, diversity and beauty that makes up the people who believe in Jesus Christ as the son of God. What the hot tiny white plastered room lacked in size and comfort more then redeemed itself with the treasure of people that it held. -my jurnal
Tonight church was such a blessing. Thank you Lord for the little slice of heaven I got to see tonight!
Well, I’m off to bed. I have an 11 hour field study in and around Jerusalem tomorrow and it’s gonna be hot and tiring! I’m still having a great deal of trouble with the internet, so I’ll continue to post when I can but personal messages will have to wait until our server is back up and running. Love!
